Keynote Speakers
Yuanzhong (Paul) Zhou

Yuanzhong (Paul) Zhou received the M.S.E.E. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Northeastern University, Boston, MA, in 1997 and 1998, respectively. He also holds the B.S. and M.S. degrees in physics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Wuhan, China. From 1988 to 1992, he was a Lecturer with HUST, where he taught physics courses and was involved in research in the fields of solid-state physics and applications of electrostatics. From 1998 to 2005, he was a Senior/Staff Circuit Design Engineer with Fairchild Semiconductor, South Portland, Maine, US, working on compact modeling for CMOS, BiCMOS, and BCDMOS technologies. In 2005, he joined Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI), Wilmington, MA, and is currently a Senior Staff ESD Engineer there with the Corporate ESD Department. He is a pioneer in industrial application of SPICE simulation for ESD protection design and verification. He developed a practical methodology for ESD compact modeling that has enabled ADI to be an industry leader using circuit-level SPICE simulation as one of primary ESD verification tools. He has authored or co-authored about 80 technical papers, including multiple invited ones, and holds several patents. He has also been invited to give seminar talks in industry companies (such as TSMC and SMIC) and higher education institutions (Zhejiang University and Northeastern University).
