Work experiences

Since 1998, I joined National Metal and Materials Technology Center, NSTDA, Thailand as a researcher. Between 2010- 2020, I was appointed Materials for Energy Research Unit Director (RUD). When National Energy Technology Center, NSTDA, Thailand was established on the 1st October, 2020, I have become Director of Energy Innovation Research Group and from the 1st May, 2022 as the Executive Director. I have supervised/co-supervised more than 23 MSc/PhD students from Chulalongkorn University, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, Mahidol University, Thammasart University and TAIST Tokyo Tech programme. Further from fundamental research, I have also collaborated with industry to work on near-market research. Other than research work, I have also served as technical reviewer in several international journals related to hydrogen, electrochemistry and material science and engineering and as technical committee of conferences and symposia. Another part of work includes organizing networking symposium i.e UK-South East Asia Partnership in Science in the topic of Fuel Cells from 2007 to 2011.

Research interest

My main areas of research are hydrogen production, Solid Oxide Fuel Cells, catalysis and adsorbents, fabrication of ceramic film and materials characterization. I have over 50 publications in international journals, 11 articles in national journals, 72 presentations in international conferences, and 42 presentations in national conferences. For intellectual properties, I have 23 patents (pending/filing) and 6 trade secrets.
